As worded following Law No. 2015-990 of 6 August 2015 for growth, activity and equal economic opportunities, Article L. 145-4 of the Commercial Code gives the tenant the option of giving notice to quit at the end of a three-year period, at least six months in advance, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or by extrajudicial act.
