AJDI, septembre 2009
The Law of 22 July 2009 on tourist services makes two amendments to the commercial lease regime. The first is temporary and grants former holders of a travel agent’s licence a right to extend the permitted use of their premises in order to add an activity connected with the sale of travel and holidays. The second is permanent and sets at a fixed nine years the term of leases granted to operators of tourist residences… Finally, those operators are required to inform prospective landlords of the existence of the right to payment of an eviction indemnity in the event of refusal to renew.
