As every year, this review lists the legislation and decisions published over the past twelve months, up to March 2009.

The Law of 17 June 2008 reforming the civil limitation regime has significant implications for commercial lease procedure, its effects combining with the reforms introduced by the Law of 4 August 2008. In particular, it provides that conciliation proceedings and expert appraisal suspend the limitation period. Lastly, the Order of 18 December 2008 on insolvency proceedings also has a bearing on the continuation of the current commercial lease.
